LSW limited Warranty Details
Subject to the conditions below and any relevant warranty periods, this Product is guaranteed from the date of purchase against defects in workmanship and materials if purchased in Australia. If unsure as to the warranty period, check with LSW or the place of purchase. Should the warranty period not be specified on this warranty registration card, the standard warranties as published by LSW from time to time shall prevail. For you protection and to obtain your limited warranty
Your warranty is conditional upon and ONLY becomes effective if you properly register your warranty within 10 working days from the date of purchase. LSW will not return acknowledgement of registration. Products purchased overseas, secondhand or from E-Bay or the like cannot be registered.

Repair and Replacement
During the warranty period any such defect will be rectified free of charge either by repair or replacement if, in the sole judgment of the importer or manufacturer (hereafter known as LSW), such defect shall be deemed over and above that which might be expected through normal use. Warranty does not apply where in the opinion of LSW a defect has been caused by careless or improper handling, by non-adherence to operating instructions or by normal or fair wear and tear or where the Product has been damaged by accident.

Service
If service is required it should only be carried out by an LSW authorised service agent. Any service or attempt to service by a non-LSW authorised service agent will void any warranty.

This warranty applies to the original Purchaser only and is non-transferable. Should the serial number on the Product be deleted, altered or tampered with in any way, the warranty will be deemed void.

For the purpose of making any warranty claim, the Purchaser must allow LSW, its employees and agents full and free access to the Product in relation to which the claim is made and to the place where the Product has been applied or used for the purpose of conducting such tests as LSW may in its absolute discretion deem necessary to determine whether the claim is justified or not.

Product Groups
Warranty periods may vary between product groups and individual products. Check with the place of purchase as to any applicable warranty period that may apply to the Product to which this warranty applies. Certain Products may come with extended warranty where the warranty term or warranty period is in addition to the Standard warranty period. In such cases, you must refer to any specific Additional Warranty Terms and Conditions and the same are to be read in conjunction with these terms for the additional warranty period.

Limitations, Conditions on Exclusions
Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, LSW shall not be liable for any special, incidental, consequential, indirect or similar damages, loss of profits, damages to Purchaser’s property, or injury to the Purchaser or others arising out of the use of, misuse of, intermittent use of or inability to use the Product, including breach of warranty, or negligence, including but not limited to LSW’s own negligence, even if LSW has been advised of such damages, or for any claim brought against the Purchaser by any other party. This Limited Warranty allocates risk of Product failure between the Purchaser and LSW and the price of the Product reflects this allocation of risk and the limitations of liability contained in this Limited Warranty. The agents, employees and dealers of LSW are not authorised to make modifications to this Limited Warranty, or make additional warranties binding on LSW and therefore, additional statements such as dealer advertising or presentation, oral or in writing, do not constitute warranties by LSW and should not be relied upon under the terms of this Limited Warranty.

Under no circumstance shall LSW be liable to pay compensation for any injury, loss or damage howsoever arising, consequential damage, loss of time, inconvenience, incidental expenses, labour as material charges in the connection with the removal, repair or replacement of the Product. Subject only to the provisions of the Trade Practices Act, which necessarily apply to the contract and cannot be excluded, LSW’s liability is limited to:

(1) The cost of replacing the goods.
(2) The cost of obtaining equivalent goods.
(3) The cost of having the goods repaired: whichever is the lowest amount.

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied and there is no other warranty or warranties valid. The granting of warranty will be at the sole discretion of LSW. No one is authorised to assume any liability on behalf of, or to impose any obligation on LSW or any of its agents or employees in connection with the sale of any equipment other than as stated in this warranty and outlined herein.

This warranty does not detract from the mandatory statutory warranties as implied by the Trade Practices Act and other relevant legislations and nothing contained herein purports to exclude, restrict or modify such rights, remedies, obligations or liabilities to the extent only that such exclusion, restriction or modification would render any term herein void. Each of the undertakings contained herein shall be construed and take effect so that if any part of any condition or an entire condition is rendered invalid for any reason then that part shall be severed from these conditions and the remainder of the conditions or any part thereof shall have full effect.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by: using an incorrect lamp, incorrect voltage supply, incorrect voltage selection or incorrect installation; portable power supplies; incorrect power supply or polarity; use of a power transformer other than the unit supplied or specified; instances where the Product’s voltage switch was not correctly selected; use of incorrect fuses; excessive humidity or effects caused to the Product by the use of smoke machines or other similar special effects devices or where the Product has been affected by exposure to external liquids or lubricants or any other foreign object such as coins, pins, dirt or dust etc; instances where the Product has been exposed to extreme variation in temperature; transportation, or incorrectly packaged, or as a result of a knock or rough treatment as used in the normal course of its intended use; misuse, accident, abnormal strain, negligence or improper operation; failure to carry out routine maintenance, for example cleaning and lubrication; the use of cleaning materials; any external devices, incompatibility with other brand name equipment; the use of accessories that, in the sole opinion of LSW, are defective or incompatible with the Product; power surges or thunderstorm activity; leaking batteries or damage caused through malfunctioning batteries; misuse, repair or attempts to repair by unauthorised personnel, or if the Product(s) is not used in accordance with any instructions provided in writing or verbally at the point of sale or place of purchase; excessive or inappropriate use or use in a way for which the Product was not intended. In all cases, warranty does not apply where the purchase was made outside of Australia or from an unauthorised dealer or distributor, or where the customer has examined the Product(s) before purchase, where those defects ought to have been revealed to the customer upon examination unless otherwise specified in writing by LSW or the LSW authorised dealer.

Opening the Product and or where the Product has undergone modification(s) of any type will immediately void warranty except as provided specifically herein or as the context demands.

Parts not Warrantable
There are no warranties on lasers, laser diodes, laser tubes, light bulbs, lamps, cross faders, phono to line or such similar switches, faders, smoke machines that have been used with scented smoke fluids or used with fluids or materials other than the recommended smoke fluid, CD laser pick ups, belts of any description, switching transformers, batteries, fuses, breakables, ceramic items, glass, mirrorballs, triacs, styli, meters, playback or recording heads, remote controls, footswitches and any other component that LSW may deem to not be warrantable.

Loudspeakers
Loudspeakers will be governed by the manufacturers’ specific terms and conditions of warranty and are guaranteed against malfunction due to defects in workmanship and materials. The warranty will not extend to finish, appearance, minor scratches, burned coils, or malfunction due to abuse or operation, over powering, cone and/or coil damage. No warranty is offered on high frequency devices where a bi-amp switch is present. Speakers (including horns and tweeters) that have been installed in improperly designed enclosures or subject to excessive volume and distortion levels are not covered by this Limited Warranty. LSW authorised warranty repair technicians can determine the cause of damage by inspecting drivers, woofers and speaker components generally.

Duty Cycle
This warranty does not cover damage caused to non-commercial Products when used in commercial applications or where the Product has been used outside of the normal usage expectations. Products that are used in excess of any specified duty cycle will also be void of warranty.

Accessory Items
This warranty does not cover accessory items such as cables, leads, connecting cords, loose accessories, remote controls, carrying case or straps, covers and footswitches.

Minor Faults
Minor scratches on the Product caused by the manufacturer or LSW Service Agents are not covered by warranty. Should the purchaser return the Product with described faults which are deemed to be so minor so as to not reduce the value or performance of the Product or the problem is of a type as to have been expected given the Product’s quality, age and price then the warranty shall be considered to be void in such cases as no warranty repair is applicable.

LSW is not responsible if the Product(s) are damaged due to a cause independent of human control or which is not deemed to be a defect in workmanship or materials, e.g. rust and corrosion or effects that may have been caused by such things including but not limited to thunderstorm activity or lightning, infestation by insects or vermin.

Safety
Any safety and operation instructions should be read before the Product is operated. The warranty is void and invalid if any safety and operating instructions have not been strictly adhered to. In so far as the law permits the purchaser of the Product expressly assumes full responsibility for any damage sustained or harm suffered in any way whatsoever through use or operation of any LSW product regardless of whether any safety or operating instructions have been provided.

Substitute Products
LSW is under no obligation to provide a substitute Product while the Product is under warranty repair.

LSW may at its sole discretion, use rebuilt, reconditioned or new parts of components when repairing any Product or replace a Product with a rebuilt, reconditioned or new product. Repaired or replaced Products will be warranted for a period equal to the remainder of the original Limited Warranty of the Product. LSW does not provide warranty on spare parts unless expressly stated. Claims for premature failure of spare parts should be directed to LSW. Under certain circumstances LSW may agree to allow credit on the part for premature failure. The decision to do this is at the sole discretion of LSW. All replaced parts, components, boards and equipment become the property of LSW.

Site Service is not available from LSW under the terms of this limited warranty. This warranty only applies to Products returned to LSW or its authorised agents.

Return Procedures
If this Product fails to operate satisfactorily, please consult your place of purchase to confirm if and where it is to be returned. If return is authorised by LSW, the place of purchase will issue a repair number that must be clearly displayed on the Product packaging. Remember to pack the unit securely and take out adequate pre paid insurance cover. Always include a full description of the defect or particulars of the claim, along with your correct return address, telephone number, and legible proof of purchase. The place of purchase, manufacturer or importer is not responsible for damage or loss incurred as a result of postal handling or damage caused during transit. Wherever possible send only the component in question, not the Product as a whole. This especially applies in the case of a speaker cabinet. Send only the component in question, not the whole speaker cabinet. If uncertain which component is defective or you need directions for removing a component from a speaker, contact LSW for assistance.

Shipping the Product
If the Product must be returned for service by post, for added security, we suggest mailing the Product by registered or certified post. At no time does LSW or the place of purchase have liability for any freight or transportation costs, removal or reinstallation costs. Wherever possible, the Product should be returned in its original carton and packing or alternatively packed carefully into a strong carton with adequate packing material, making sure that the plug is separately protected to prevent damage to the surface of the Product(s).

LSW will not accept any COD postal returns of Product(s). LSW will not return the Product by expedited or priority freight unless at the Purchaser’s cost and written request.

Charges
LSW will charge for any work done where the Product is found to be in good working order. Such work will be charged at LSW ruling rates. For example, charges may be applied where the problem is found to be due to incorrect operation of controls, flat or incorrectly inserted batteries, use of a poor antenna system or the wrong installation of a Product. LSW will not cover labour charges where no fault is found and in such cases, the diagnostic and associated costs shall be borne by the dealer or purchaser.

This warranty is conditional upon and ONLY becomes effective if you properly register your warranty within 10 working days from the date of purchase so that LSW may contact you directly in the event a safety notification is issued in accordance with the Consumer Product Safety Act. LSW will not return acknowledgement of registration.
